You made a plan for your writing this fall. This group helps you keep it.

This weekly Monday check-in is designed to give you the structure, accountability, and community that a busy academic semester often crowds out. Whether you’re deep in a manuscript, chipping away at revisions, or trying to protect your writing time from the pull of teaching, service, and other obligations, this group meets you where you are each week.

Each session offers a dedicated space to share your progress, troubleshoot what’s getting in the way, and reset your priorities for the week ahead. All sessions focus on keeping your project moving and helping you reach completion, and are built on best practices grounded in writing studies research by scholars who study how to support writing in group sessions. You’ll hear what’s working for others, recalibrate when needed, and head into the rest of your week with renewed focus and accountability.

Meets Mondays, 1–2 pm EST: August 24, 31; September 14, 21, 28; October 5, 12, 19, 26; November 2, 9, 16, 23, 30; December 7, 14. All sessions recorded and shared weekly.

All participants receive:

  • A free fall accountability and planning tracker
  • Weekly resources to support your writing practice
  • A weekly focus tied to where you are in the semester, so momentum builds instead of stalls
  • Ongoing weekly support through quick email check ins (as many as you like)
  • Free 30 minute personal consultation to set writing goals prior to first group meeting

This group is for you if you:

  • Need semester-long accountability and a strategy of the week to provide novelty and new motivation
  • Want ongoing support as you carry a summer writing plan into the fall
  • Work best with regular check-ins and a sense of community
  • Want a low-pressure, consistent touchpoint to stay on track from August through December

One $60 registration for all 15 sessions, with all sessions recorded weekly.
